DIY Calming Bath with Clary Sage Essential Oil

Clary sage helps maintain mood and emotion.  The oil also generates positive energy, while soothing the mind and supporting general well-being.  As an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antiseptic, it's also a superb additive for skin relieving blends and bath products.

Insomnia deprives a person of sleep, one of the main cornerstones to a healthy body and mind.  When you don't get enough sleep, you may feel fatigued, depressed, or mentally and physically impaired.  The lack of sleep may even affect physical processes, like digestion.  When combined with the soft and soothing effects of lavender, clary sage will help melt away your stress into a puddle of sleep.

Lavender Sage Bath Soak

Ingredients:

  • 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 1 drop Clary Sage Essential Oil
  • 1 tsp Cream

Directions:

Ease yourself into a dreamless sleep with a hot bath and this Lavender Sage Insomnia Bath Soak.  Simply fill the bathtub with hot water and add in the essential oils and cream while the water is running, in order to disperse.  For a good nights sleep, soak in this dreamy bath for 20 minutes.

Warning:  Don't fall asleep in the tub!!
